Curriculum Collaboratory
The Curriculum Collaboratory provides an open working environment
where teaching professionals can share ideas, locate curriculum resources,
gain expertise with software, and develop curriculum projects.
This is a drop-in center, so you can come at your convenience, either in groups or alone

Anytime from: 11:00 am-4:00 PM/ Place: Playing to Win, 1330 Fifth Avenue at 111th Street
- TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS
Anytime from: 3:00 PM- 6:00 PM/ Place: Teachers College, 525 West 120th Street, 50 Thorndike
(Closed for Spring Break: 3/16; 3/18)
Experts in curriculum development and instructional technology will be available to assist

What are some ways to use the Curriculum Collaboratory?
- Design and work on collaborative projects with other teachers
- Connect with teachers in other schools, in the United States and abroad
- Connect with experts on line
- Learn about on-line projects sponsored by the United Nations, NASA, etc.
- Come in with ideas--we will find teachers for you to work with
- Use the Internet as a classroom research tool

- Plan curriculum projects (Inspiration)
- Improve student projects (HyperStudio, KidPix)
- Scan and manipulate images (Adobe Photoshop)
- Produce digital artwork (Adobe Illustrator)
- Create databases for classroom use (FilemakerPro, Microsoft Access)
- Create web pages (Claris Homepage, Dreamweaver)
- Produce newspapers, newsletters, and flyers (Printshop, Quark)
